Ruby symbolises leadership, vitality and confidence. Linked with the Sun, Leo and numerology 1, it represents honour, courage and success. Revered across cultures, it remains a timeless symbol of strength, prestige and prosperity.

Ruby, aligned with the Sun in Vedic gemstone tradition, symbolizes authority, vitality, and sovereign leadership and is believed to strengthen confidence, honor, and success. Associated with Leo and numerology No.1, Ruby has been revered across civilizations. In Biblical heritage, red stones such as the sardius mentioned in priestly breastplates symbolized strength and divine favour. Greek and Roman warriors wore rubies for courage and protection, while Middle Eastern royal courts prized them as emblems of nobility. Across Asian traditions, particularly in Burma, India, and China, Ruby was known as the “King of Gemstones,” believed to protect rulers and attract prosperity. Ruby is traditionally chosen for leadership, vitality, and prestige.

Types & Origins
Burmese (Myanmar) rubies from the Mogok region are considered the finest, known for their rich “pigeon blood” red color and rarity. Mozambique rubies offer high quality with vibrant red to pinkish-red hues and have become a major modern source. Thai rubies are typically darker with deeper tones, while Sri Lankan (Ceylon) rubies are lighter, often pinkish-red with excellent clarity. Additional sources include Afghanistan, Tanzania, and Madagascar, each producing natural rubies of varying tone and saturation.
