Blue Sapphire symbolises discipline, wisdom and stability. Linked with Saturn, Capricorn, Aquarius and numerology 8, it represents focus, protection and success. Revered across cultures, it remains a timeless symbol of strength, insight and balance.

Blue Sapphire, governed by Saturn in Vedic astrology, represents discipline, destiny, and karmic balance and is associated with Capricorn, Aquarius, and numerology No.8. In Biblical heritage, sapphire symbolized divine heaven and sacred wisdom and is referenced as part of the foundations of holy cities. In Greek and Roman traditions, sapphire was worn by kings and priests for protection and insight, while Middle Eastern cultures regarded it as a guard against envy. Across Asian traditions, particularly in Persia and Sri Lanka, sapphire symbolized celestial favour and royal protection. It is traditionally selected for stability, focus, and success.

Types & Origins
Kashmir Blue Sapphires (India) are historically the most prized, known for their velvety cornflower-blue hue and rarity. Sri Lankan (Ceylon) sapphires are lighter, vibrant, and highly brilliant with excellent clarity. Burmese (Myanmar) sapphires display deep royal blue saturation. Madagascar has emerged as a significant modern source producing high-quality stones comparable to classical origins. Additional sources include Thailand and Australia, often producing darker-toned sapphires.
